Members of the CCGGA enhance the quality of life for people within the area by actively participating in numerous community events and fundraisers. Members support and contribute to a variety of local causes such as:

During our 2002 Greenhouse Tour and Open House, CCGGA Members raised and donated thousands of dollars to the new Nipomo High School agriculture department.

In fact, virtually every worthy cause in the area has come to rely on the CCGGA for help in raising money. Because its members are local, the CCGGA places a high priority on the local community's goals and needs, so it is ever ready to contribute plant donations for fundraisers and to lend a helping hand.
