Corey Nursery was founded in Glendora, California in 1978 by Gene Corey. At its inception, Corey Nursery was run out of 20,000 square feet of leased greenhouse. Since then the operation has expanded with its main office on ten acres in Claremont, California. The Nipomo facility was opened in 1992, and a Las Vegas distribution center was opened in 1999. 

Corey Nursery is a leading supplier of wholesale foliage, planted baskets and specialty items to chain stores and supermarkets in the southwestern United States.
