Established in 1979, Greenheart® has grown to become one of California's leading vegetable plug transplant producers. With two facilities in California and another in the Desert Southwest, our nursery ranks as one of the largest in the nation. We propagate in excess of one billion plants each year.

Diverse Producer

Greenheart® is also becoming well known for quality live floral plants, especially poinsettias and roses. Our markets include major West Coast retailers, local retail nurseries, florists, garden and hardware outlets and drug discount stores.

Our different geographic locations enable us to grow crops in climatic conditions parallel to those in the markets we serve. As a high volume greenhouse grower, we can supply farming or merchandising operations with high quality product to meet exact specifications.

Experts

Crop type and specification, variety, seed cost, seed to transplant growth duration, packaging and shipping method, lead time for space reservation and order processing and many other factors are determined on a custom basis with each and every customer.

Our management team in sales and marketing, quality assurance and control, production, shipping, transplanting and research are vigilant in their efforts to keep pace with the ever changing needs of the customers we serve.

Our expertise includes broad knowledge of products for vegetable, herb and flower farming, reclamation projects, live potted flowers for end-consumers, and container stock for farming and/or landscaping applications.

Quality

Greenheart® takes pride in the quality assurance and quality control in which all departments play a significant role. We have established performance parameters and frequently tested "pulse-points" to monitor compliance to crop specification and strictly adhered to phytosanitary conditions. These "pulse-points" are recorded and deviations immediately addressed from seed procurements to transplantation of a finished crop in a customer's field..
